Rumgehør is an Aarhus-based architectural studio, founded in 2019. Believing that there is an untapped potential in the cross-disciplinary practices, we seek to connect architecture, design, arts, social innovation to improve our surroundings.
Exactly because we believe that our ideals belong in every aspect of life, we do not shy away from any brief or project, big or small.
In order to become the creative melting pot, we strive for, we have placed three main cornerstones as the foundation for our studio: Architecture, Design, Arts and Teaching/Facilitation
Architecture
Architecture is complex! We offer various architectural services from early concept design to construction documentation, project lead and some of it we build ourselves.
Design
There are too many rigid and boxy designs in the world!. We design playful furniture, objects, prototypes, situations and custom interior solutions.
Art
Architecture can offer more! Rumgehør works with building integrated art, where works are created specifically for the site they are intended for.
Teaching / Facilitation
More people should have an understanding of the built world they are part of!
